The only know records of this creature come from Scorros Illitor, explorer of Longreach:
"This colossal monstrosity covered the entirety of a great tower and fed on tremendous pools of a mixture of blood and water. Its defenses included thrashing vines, some mobile and some fixed, often up to five yards in length; poison-filled bulbs that it could burst at will; and a single massive flower capable of spitting barrages of poisonous needles. Its roots were capable of rapid regeneration, but the flower and vines did not appear to be.
Given the amount of blood this thing required, I believe it was a unique abomination. I do not believe it could ever appear as an accident of nature."
